Notes to Editor:
Jeff Tyler has worked internationally in the hospitality industry for over seventeen years. He discovered a passion for cooking as a child and at just 15 years old began a Diploma in Culinary Arts, making him to this day the youngest ever student accepted onto the course. Jeff’s career began in his native New Zealand, where he quickly rose through the ranks of Huka Lodge’s award-winning restaurant on North Island. It was here he was first introduced to Japanese cuisine. At 18 years old and willing to learn more, Jeff took the opportunity to move to Japan to work, an experience he later described as the greatest challenge of his life so far. An impressive CV boasts experience at Roka, The Mandarin Oriental in Marrakech and Barcelona, and more recently as the opening Head Chef at Novikov London, Moscow, Dubai and Sardinia. Now aged just 32, Jeff opens TITU in Mayfair.
Nestled neatly between Piccadilly and Curzon Street, the 18th Century Shepherd Market is a unique enclave steeped in history. With paved streets and boutique shops, the village atmosphere makes Shepherd Market a hidden oasis in one of London’s busiest areas. TITU stands proudly at number 1 Shepherd Market amongst an eclectic collection of eateries, art galleries and Victorian pubs.
